Aberdeen appear to be winning the battle to keep hold of Derek McInnes.

Dons chairman Stewart Milne says the manager has updated him on speculation linking him with a move away from Pittodrie.

Rangers and West Bromwich Albion are the two main clubs said to be interested in hiring McInnes.

Milne told RedTV: "Derek made his position very clear to me last night that he has no intentions of going anywhere.

"He loves this club. He knows he's loved, he knows he's respected by everyone at the club and the fans out there."
