Deputy leader defends Marischal Square
Councillor Marie Boulton speaks to Northsound, as more people sign petition against the city centre development.
The councillor in charge of Marischal Square says it's too late to stop the development. Deputy leader Marie Boulton is refusing calls from campaigners for a "temporary delay" on the project.
She says planning permission has been given, and work is already underway Thousands have signed a petition since an unofficial video emerged last week what it would look like.
Councillor Boulton's told Northsound she doesn't think it was a good representation - and she says many changes have been made to make the development more bright and open.
And she says Provost Skene's House and Marischal College will still be visable and accessible from lots of different spots around the Square.
