Deal agreed to wipe out Aberdeen debts....
...but there won't be any extra money for Derek McInnes to buy new players.
Aberdeen have agreed a deal to wipe out the club's debts - but that won't mean money for new players. An agreement was reached at the club's AGM last night to make Elaine and Willie Donald major shareholders. In return - they'll help wipe out the club's £14.5 million debts. But chairman Stewart Milne insists there'll be no spending spree for Derek McInnes, saying there's no point clearing one debt just to create another.
