Cyclist treated at ARI after Aberdeen City Centre collision

A 4x4 was involved in the crash on Friday

A cyclist’s been treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after a road traffic collision involving a cyclist and a car on George Street, Aberdeen, at about 1pm on Friday, 20th October, 2017.

The collision which happened on George Street at its junction with Fraser Place involved a blue Suzuki 4x4 vehicle.

Constable Cameron Griffiths of the Roads Policing Unit said: "This collision resulted in the 41 year old male cyclist being taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with injuries. I would encourage anyone who witnessed this collision or who saw the vehicle or cyclist prior to the collision to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1417 of 20 October 2017."
