Cyclist seriously injured after A96 crash
The accident with a van closed the road city-bound at rush hour
A cyclist has been taken to hospital with what the police are calling "significant" injuries, after an accident which has closed one of the main roads into Aberdeen.
The bicycle crashed with a van this morning near the Broomhill Roundabout at Kintore on the A96.
He's being treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Both lanes city-bound are still closed for investigations.
The accident caused long delays as commuters heading into Aberdeen were diverted to nearby routes.
