Crown officer worker suspended after suspected security breach

A 33-year old woman has been suspended, arrested and charged in relation to the matter.

Security measures have been stepped up as police investigate a potential security breach in an evidence locker in Aberdeen.

A crown office spokesperson has said that implementation of security in such facilities is currently under review.

The review on the way evidence is stored is in regards to all crown office premises, not just the Aberdeen unit at which the alleged incident took place.
