A Turriff mum's raising money to help repair the school which was hit by vandals over the weekend.

They caused 20-thousand pounds worth of damage at Markethill School.

They tore up children's artwork, broke TVs and even smashed the stained glass window which was the centrepiece of the school.

Local mum Philippa Macken's kids are off school as a result - she's launched a crowdfunding campaign to replace a stained glass window she describes as the centrepoint of the school.
