Countesswells home raided by thieves

Jewellery, gadgets and money totalling more than £10,000 has been stolen from a home on Aberdeen's Countesswells Road.

It happened between Friday 23rd June and Sunday 25th June - police are appealing for witnesses.

Detective Sergeant John Snedden said: "I would ask anyone who was in the area at the weekend and saw anything suspicious to please get in touch. Likewise, I would ask anyone with private CCTV footage in the area to let us know as it could be valuable to our inquiry.

"Thefts of any nature won't be tolerated and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace the person - or people - responsible.
