Scotland’s First Minister will be speaking exclusively to us on Friday morning about the Scottish Governments response to Covid-19.

In this one-off special, it’s your chance to speak directly to Nicola Sturgeon about the issues that matter to you during this pandemic.

Post your question below and Ewen Cameron will try his best to get them in front of the First Minister.

National & International:

There are now 29,474 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK.

2,352 people have died after having the virus.

2,310 people in Scotland have contracted the virus - 317 in the last 24 hours, with 16 deaths in that time also taking the Scottish death toll to 76.

At the latest UK government briefing, we were told the initial goal of 10,000 tests per day has been met, the next aim will be 25,000 and eventually hundreds of thousands of tests per day.

These of course will be focused on front line health workers first of all.

An anti-body test, which would tell the user if they've previously had the virus - and are therefore immune - is continuing to be sought, and testing for that is progressing.

We were told however, that road traffic - for motor vehicles, as opposed to public transport - has gone up again, with government officials reminding the public to stay at home.

In Holyrood, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that while a temporary hospital is being set up at the SEC in Glasgow, current forecasting does not suggest it would be required, but the government are looking to be prepared for if the situation worsens.

Both the Edinburgh Festival and the Wimbledon Tennis tournament have been cancelled.

In the North East:

There are now 108 cases of the virus in the Grampian area.

A 60-year-old man has been charged after allegedly deliberately coughing on another man after an argument in an Inverurie car park.

And North East MSP Lewis MacDonald has been elected as the deputy presiding officer to the Scottish Parliament for the time being.

Something a bit more positive:

The Cash for Kids appeal continues to raise money for local families, with stories of various ways of raising cash.

We've heard about Ewan Taylor who shaved his head for donations to the charity.

And the live stream concerts in support of CFK - which started by raising well over £1000 last weekend - continues tomorrow:
