Coronavirus Daily Update: New hospital built in London and a quarter of a million NHS volunteers required

National & International:
The Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced a new hospital, based at the excel exhibition centre in London, is to be built with military help.
The new hospital will consist of two wards and hold up to 4,000 people.
Hancock has also said the NHS will be looking for around 250,000 volunteers.
3.5 million anti-body test which will tell an individual if they've had the virus have also been ordered, as well as 7.5 million pieces of protective equipment for NHS and social care workers shipped in overnight.
There are now a confirmed 8,077 cases in the UK, with 422 deaths. Scotland have had 16 deaths.
Italy has seen a massive jump of 743 in the death toll, despite the two days previous showing a fall in the tally, meanwhile Spain has seen a further 514 deaths.
However, we are told that while the number of deaths in Italy has once again jumped, the number of new cases are slowing.
The Olympics which were due to begin in July have been moved to next year and India have become the latest nation to go into lockdown.
In the North East:
Grampian currently has 24 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
NHS Grampian have been forced to suspend visiting times, apart from in some very specific cases - such as one parent visiting a child, or where the patient is in the last moments of their life, more on that below:
Aberdeen City Council have launched a new emergency telephone number for the most vulnerable and at-risk during the coronavirus outbreak.

It's free to call and open 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
It's designed for those unable to get help from their existing support networks.
Aberdeen North MP Kirsty Blackman has posted a Twitter thread of advice for local businesses, as she urges them to make sure they don't pressure employees to come into work.
And local foodbank Cfine are staying open, but they've had to make some changes to ensure the safety of all involved.
