Concern growing for 82-year-old woman missing from Aberdeen

Concerns are growing for a missing 82-year-old woman who hasn't been seen since Monday evening.

Alice Mitchell was last seen at around 11pm on 9 September in the Forrit Brae area of Bucksburn.

She is described as being around 5ft 1ins tall, of slim build with short grey hair.

It is unknown what Alice is currently wearing however officers said she could be wearing a black bomber style jacket or cream jumper with a zip at the front.

Police Scotland's Sergeant Ross Geddes said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alice's welfare and it is important that we make sure she is safe and well as soon as we can.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Alice to get in touch with us immediately."

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 1131 on 11 September.
