Tory Douglas Lumsden and returning leader Jenny Laing will share the top job

Drama at the townhouse - as Aberdeen City Council votes to have co-leaders.

The Conservatives' Douglas Lumsden there who will now have a joint hand in running the local authority.

He'll work alongside returning leader Jenny Laing.

There was opposition from the SNP group who argued that creating the post went against the rules and was being used to suit a political agenda
