Christmas Turkeys taken in Cash and Carry raid

Opportunistic thieves have stolen 40 ChristmasTurkeys from an Aberdeen cash and carry.

It’s understood to have happened shortly after 9pm on Thursday 23 November 2017 at Makro, Wellington Circle, Aberdeen.

Investigating Officer Constable John Chalmers said: "We are keen to speak to anybody with knowledge of the incident or who may have recently been offered a turkey for sale.

"We would also like to speak to anyone who saw a silver Vauxhall Astra motorcar in the area at the time.

"Anybody with information regarding this incident or who saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area around the time is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0589 of 24/11 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 should you wish to remain anonymous."
