CCTV Appeal After Street Attack

Police officers are investigating a serious assault on a 20 year old man in Aberdeen City Centre on Sunday 25 January 2015.

It happened shortly after 1.00am on Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, near to His Majesty’s Theatre. Officers are looking to trace the man shown in the image who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is approximately 6 foot tall, of slim build, with short dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white t-shirt, a black jacket and beige trousers. Investigating Officer Emma Low said, "This was a serious incident resulting in a male sustaining a facial injury. Assaults of this nature can have a significant impact on the life of the victim, and I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male pictured or has any knowledge of this incident to come forward and contact the Police."
