CCTV Appeal over Armed Robbery

The police investigating an armed robbery at an Aberdeen shop have released a CCTV image of the suspect.

It happened on May 7th at the Gallowgate Convenience Store.

The man threatened the shopworker with a knife, but she wasn't hurt.

The man is about 6ft tall with a slim build and blue eyes and he was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, white trainers and a brown or khaki coloured hat with fur lined ear covers.

Detective Inspector Colin Morrans, who is leading the enquiry, said, "The person in the image is wearing very distinctive clothing and I would urge anyone who recognises the male to make contact with the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous."
