She's been named Sandi

A cat's been found abandoned next to communal bins on Ferrier Crescent in Aberdeen.

The Scottish SPCA was alerted on 19th July after being found by a member of public.

Inspector Fiona McKenzie said, “The cat had no obvious injuries when she was found, however that could have been drastically different if she had been left outside without food and water for much longer.”

“Sandi, as named by staff, was found in a cat carrier tucked beside communal bins.

“We’re keen to establish why she was left. Abandoning an animal is an offence under the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006. Anyone found guilty of doing so can expect to be banned from keeping animals for a fixed period or life.”
