Can Aberdeen's Roads Support The Masterplan? - Your Responses

Published 25th Jun 2015

So, we asked you if Aberdeen's roads will be able to cope with the new Masterplan, that was approved yesterday.

Here's some of the best responses we got on our Facebook:

Ryan, from Aberdeen:

"Trust me Aberdeen traffic is NOT bad compared with many other places."

Charlene, from Aberdeen:

"Aberdeens roads can't support the traffic as it is! I'm all for the 'masterplan' going ahead but the roads need to be a priority really!"

Kimberly, from Glasgow:

"Moving from Glasgow I really don't think the traffic in Aberdeen is that bad!"

Gregor, from Aberdeen:

"Of course. Road spending in the next five years is off the scale with the bypass, Third Don Crossing and others."

Bruce, from Aberdeen:

"Simple answer: No, not with current spending. The recent spending for bypass, third bridge etc are far too overdue to mitigate future traffic increases."

Kevin, from Kintore:

"Build trams, it did well for Edinburgh."

Laura, from Aberdeen:

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!!"
