Unidentified device at Dyce recycling centre 'not dangerous'

An unidentified object discovered at Pitmedden Recycling Centre in Aberdeen has been classed as not dangerous after assessment by EOD.

Police Scotland's confirmed it is a decommisioned military ordance.

It was found around 3pm on Friday and a cordon was put up on Lawson Drive in Dyce.

That's now been lifted and the road reopened.
