Body of man recovered from shore of Aberdeen's Cove Bay
Police say an investigation is underway
An investigation is underway after a body was recovered at Aberdeen's Cove Bay.
Police were alerted to the body of a man at the shore near cove around 12.45 this afternoon.
The man was recovered with the assistance of the RNLI.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told us: “We were made aware of the body of a man found at the shore near to Cove in Aberdeen around 12.45pm on Tuesday, 9 May.
“The man was recovered with the assistance of the RNLI. His identity has yet to be confirmed and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances”
