Body of man found on Aberdeen beach
Formal identification is yet to take place but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A section of Aberdeen beach has been cordoned off by police after the discovery of a body.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10.15am on Monday.
Officers said formal identification is yet to take place but don't believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.15am on Monday, 7 October, 2024, the body of a man was discovered on Aberdeen Beach.
“Formal identification is yet to take place and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
