Body Found After Peterhead Fire

The body of a man's been found after a house fire in Peterhead. Crews were called to the property on Ravenscraig Road around 3pm on Saturday afternoon - his death remains unexplained. Inspector Simon Reid said:

"Police along with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended a property in Ravenscaig Road, following reports of a fire at a domestic property.

Sadly, the body of a male has been found within the property and the cause of death remains unexplained at this time. "A joint Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service investigation is ongoing to establish the the circumstances of the fire.
