Body found in search for missing woman
The family of Alice Mitchell, 82, have been informed.
A body has been found in Kintore in the search for a missing woman in Aberdeen.
Police issued an appeal on Tuesday for Alice Mitchell, 82, who hadn't been seen since Monday evening in the Bucksburn area.
A further appeal established she was last seen on the B979 near Starbucks in Blackburn.
On Thursday 12 September, officers were alerted to the body of a woman in a field in Kintore at around 4.25pm.
While formal identification is yet to take place, Alice's family have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
