Bike missing after rider thrown off down Aberdeenshire embankment

It happened on May 19 following careless driving

Officers are continuing to hunt for a bike after its rider was thrown off following the careless driving of a car in Aberdeenshire.

The rider went down and embankment after the incident around 8.45pm on the B979, Netherley to Maryculter Road, near to the Lairhillock junction on May 19.

The bike is a bright blue Bianchi Aria - a light grey or silver estate style car was seen leaving the scene of the incident
