Three arrested and charged in connection with assault near Belmont Street on Sunday morning

Three men, including two teenagers, have been arrested in connection with an assault that took place on Gaelic Lane in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police have cordoned off a section of Belmont Street and Back Wynd with enquiries ongoing.

They confirmed that three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, were arrested following a report of a 40-year-old man being assaulted on the lane.

Police were alerted to the incident at around 2.25am on Sunday morning.

The injured man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
