Woman charged with vandalism in three Scots cities in five days

A woman's been charged in connection with the vandalism of three businesses in three different cities in less than a week.

It follows attacks on the Barclays bank premises in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Police say the 37-year-old is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow (Thursday).

Police are pictured outside the Barclays branch in Edinburgh's Princes Street around 5am on Monday.

A spokesperson for the force said: "A 37-year-old female has been charged in connection with the vandalism of business premises in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

"She has been arrested and charged in connection with incidents on Union Street in Aberdeen on Tuesday, 24 May, at Princes Street, Edinburgh on Monday, 23 May  and Argyle Street and Waterloo Street in Glasgow on Friday, 20 May."
