Money stolen from Banchory Primary and doors broken 'beyond repair'

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward

Police in the North East of Scotland have launched an appeal for information after Banchory Primary School was broken into.

The thieves left with a sum of money, as well as as leaving various doors broken beyond repair.

A statement from the force on social media reads: "Between 7 PM on Thursday, 22 June 2023, and 7 AM on Friday, 23 June 2023, the Primary school was broken into and had a sum of money taken from within, as well as leaving various doors beyond repair.

• Contact Police on 101 or using the "Contact Us" form on the Police Scotland website (here)

• Report anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers 0800 555 111. Ref : 20230623-0844"
