Backyard Beach boost for Aberdeen

Can 2 young Aberdeen entrepreneurs breathe new life into the city centre ?

Dave Griffiths and Michael Robertson are behind the popular street food pop-up Backyard Beach Collective, which will launch a 2nd project outside Union Square next week.

And Dave says they're also looking to set up their box-market venture, "Staxx" in the area next year.

"We're both insanely passionate about our city. Our love for it's never waivered. We just want to see it do well as I'm sure a lot of other people do so really it just does come from the heart of wanting our city to prosper - out with oil and gas."
