Concerns are growing for the welfare of an 86-year-old man from Aberdeen who has not been seen since Monday.

Police have issued an appeal to help find Dennis Mackie, who was last seen in Dunlin Road in the city of Aberdeen around 4:30pm on Monday 20 January 2025.

Officers believe he may have travelled by car to the Huntly area where he lives, driving a copper gold coloured Ford Fiesta, with the registration SY64 TVA.

Dennis is described as being around 5ft 9ins, of medium build with grey, balding hair and slight stubble and also wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a grey cardigan, a grey polo shirt, black jogger bottoms and beige slip-on shoes.

Inspector Graeme Skene said: “It is important that we make sure Dennis is safe and well as concerns are growing for his welfare.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Dennis or his car or who knows where he might be to get in touch.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3697 of Monday, 20 January, 2025.
