Police are appealing for witnesses after three cars were vandalised in Macduff in Aberdeenshire on Saturday.

The incident happened on High Street, near to the junction with James Street, shortly before 10pm.

Sergeant Richard Barnwell, of Banff Police Station, said:

“This was obviously a deliberate act. The damage runs into hundreds of pounds and is upsetting for the victims.

“Officers have been checking local CCTV since the vandalism was reported, however, would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time, who may for example have dash-cam footage, to get in touch.

“If you have any information that would assist officers with their enquiry, then please call police via 101 quoting reference number 0161 of Sunday, 20 November, 2022. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111."
