Appeal after Halloween assault in Aberdeen nightclub
A teenager was left with serious facial injuries
Police are investigating a serious assault at an Aberdeen nightclub.
It follows disturbance involving a number men at Prohibition on Langstane Place at around 1.30am on Monday, 29 October.
A 19 year old man was left with serious facial injuries and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
PC Grant Hardie, of the Divisional Alcohol Violence Reduction Unit (DAVRU), who is leading enquiries, said: “It is believed a number of men were involved in a disturbance within the area between the bar and the dancefloor at Prohibition and a 19 year old man was seriously assaulted. The premises would have been busy at that time, with many people enjoying the build up to Halloween, and returning from Glasgow where Aberdeen FC played Rangers at Hampden.
“It is also understood that this incident may have been captured on mobile phone cameras. We would urge anyone who has any information or who witnessed the incident to contact police on 101"
“This incident has resulted in the victim suffering a serious injury. There is no excuse for violent behaviour of any kind and incidents like this will be thoroughly investigated."
There was an attack on Langstane Place last Halloween by a man dressed as the Joker from Batman.
