An incident was reported to officers at around 7.20pm on Monday May 28, 2018, on the line near to Morrison Drive in Garthdee. A 36-year-old cyclist sustained an injury to his face which required treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

PC Paul Smith, who is leading enquiries, said: "We are following several lines of enquiry in relation to this incident however would be very keen to speak to a man described as being in his 40s who was walking a dog in the area at the time and could assist. We understand he was with a woman of a similar age who was walking a spaniel-type dog.
