Aberdeen cancer support charity Maggie's is helping Andy and Jamie Murray serve up a feast of tennis and entertainment.

The brothers will compete in a Scotland v England "Battle of The Brits" at Teca in December. The news comes a day after Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding lost her brave fight against breast cancer.

Jamie Murray said: “We are delighted to have Maggie’s Aberdeen on board. We know what amazing work the charity does, especially in supporting so many local people affected by cancer. We’re proud to have them as our official charity partner for what I know is going to be a very special couple of days of tennis. It is going to be a lot of fun for us players and, hopefully, for everyone who comes along to watch.”

Tickets are selling fast for the showdown, which is set to feature a cocktail of tennis and entertainment for all the family, with organisers having already added more seats at P&J Live after Wednesday’s evening session sold out.

Two-time Wimbledon champion, former US Open winner, double Olympic champion and former World No.1 Andy Murray is scheduled to feature in all three sessions across the two days to give as many fans as possible the opportunity to see him play.
