Appeal for witnesses following Albyn Place fire

It's being treated as unexplained by police

Police in Aberdeen are appealing for information and witnesses following a fire on Albyn Place.

The incident, which took place around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 12 September, 2023, is being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the cause remain ongoing.

Detective Constable Emily Reid said: “Given that Albyn Place is often busy with traffic and a number of pedestrians, we are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 9pm and 9.45pm on Tuesday night to please come forward, as you may be able to assist our enquiries.

“We are also keen to hear from any motorists who may have dashcam footage.

“If you have any information, please call police on 101, quoting incident 4114 of 12 September, 2023.”
