A charity in Aberdeenshire has been targetted by vandals who smashed two of its windows in Westhill.

On Monday, staff at SensationAll in Westhill turned up to work to find the building had been vandalised.

Manager of the charity, Katie McnNutt told Northsound News:

"We're just heartbroken and absolutely gutted because we have the lease on the building but we are fully responsible for updating and looking after the facilities.

"So, to come in and see that is just heartbreaking for me."

She added:

"We just don't understand why you would target a charity, knowing that the charity is then going to have to pay the bill for it."

Police say they are investigating the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

“Officers received a report of vandalism at a premises on Westhill Road in Westhill, which was reported around 12.10pm on Monday, 20 June, 2022. Enquiries are at an early stage.”
