Aberdeen FC Women are SWPL 2 Champions after beating Dundee United away from home.

With two games remaining of the shortened season, the Dons have guaranteed not just their promotion but another league title after two penalties from Francesca Ogilvie, a double from Eva Thomson and a strike from the league's top goalscorer Bayley Hutchison.

It's two times in a row for the Reds, who won the SWFL North title last season.

It means Aberdeen will return to the top tier of Scottish Women's football, the SWPL 1, for the next campaign.

Their beaten opponents today, Partick Thistle or Hamilton will join them there - but that battle is set to go to the final day of the season.

Emma Hunter's side will have the chance to rack up some more points with two home games next week to wrap up the campaign.
