Aberdeen without suspended duo Ash Taylor and Peter Pawlett

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes will have to re-arrange his defence for Sunday's Ladbrokes Premiership opener at St Johnstone with Ash Taylor suspended.

The Welsh centre-back is serving a one-match ban carried over from last season and misses the Perth trip.

Midfielder Peter Pawlett is also unavailable for the meeting with Tommy Wright's team as he serves the first portion of a two-match punishment also earned last term. Defender Callum Morris, meanwhile, remains short of match-fitness following his Achilles injury.
