Teenager allegedly verbally harassed by man twice her age in Aberdeen

Police in Aberdeen are appealing for information to help trace a woman who can possibly help with an ongoing inquiry.

They received a report that a 15-year-old girl was allegedly verbally harassed at Aberdeen bus station by a man in his thirties. The incident happened around 12.10pm on Monday, 14 June, 2021.

The man is described as black African wearing a stripey green jumper and navy blue jeans.

It's been reported that immediately after the incident, a woman in her thirties wearing a black jacket with long dark hair asked the teenager if she was okay.

Constable Brendan Brands, of the community policing team based at Queen Street, said:

"We're keen to speak to this woman as it's possible she may have information about what happened. I would appeal to her to contact us.

"Our enquiries have been ongoing as we try to establish the full circumstances."
