Pittodrie's South Stand will be closed tomorrow when the Dons welcome Killie in their Scottish Cup tie.

But the game is still going ahead, if you've got a ticket for there, you can use it for the upper of the Richard Donald stand.

The club's official website says: "Over the past 48 hours additional efforts have been made to prepare the stadium and surrounding areas for Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup Quarter Final with Kilmarnock at Pittodrie and as a result the pitch is in a playable condition.

"During this time Aberdeen FC, Kilmarnock FC and the Scottish FA have continuously monitored the adverse weather conditions which have affected most of the country this week and the forecast ahead of the weekend’s match.

"After further discussions this morning which took into account: the readiness of the pitch, condition of the stadium interior, surrounding areas and the latest information available from Police Scotland and Transport Scotland regarding weather and travel conditions, both clubs have agreed to progress with the match as planned.

"As ever we would advise all supporters to plan their journeys and allow extra time for travel and to take care on foot around the area of the ground.

"Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions water supplies have been affected in parts of the South Stand. As a result, the decision has been taken to close the South Stand to home supporters for this match.

"After assessing the number of tickets sold in this area, the decision has been made to move all supporters who have purchased tickets for the home sections of the South Stand to the Richard Donald Stand Upper.

"South Stand ticket holders will automatically have their ticket enabled for the Upper Section of the Richard Donald Stand which will be operating unallocated seating. Supporters who wish to move from the Richard Donald Stand Upper to the Merkland or Main Stand should contact the Pittodrie Ticket Office."
