An Aberdeen teenager has been jailed for six years after admitting to the rape of four teenage girls within a four year period.

Kyle Park, now 18, admitted at the High Court in Edinburgh attacking the girls between 2014 and last year.

Park, who is already serving a period of detention for other sex offences was given the six year term as he is considered to be at a high-risk of reoffending, and is regarded to have a hostility to members of the opposite sex.

The court was told that Park would befriend his victims on day-trips organised by a social work department before committing the crimes.

The teenager had reportedly received social work care in the past for social, emotional and behavioural problems.
