Aberdeen’s Depute Provost resigns after alleged sexual assault
Police have charged the 64 year old in relation to an incident.

Aberdeen’s Depute Provost has resigned after the police charged the 64 year old in relation to an alleged sexual assault.
The alleged incident happened at Trinity Hall on Holburn Street in November last year.
In a statement from the Scottish Tories the party says: 'Councillor Donnelly has today resigned his post as Depute Provost of Aberdeen.
'He maintains his innocence and will be making no further comment at this time.'
