The Winter break's almost over for Aberdeen, as they gear up for Tuesday's showdown with Rangers at Pittodrie, hoping to get the rest of the season off to a flying start.

No new arrivals at Pittodrie so far, apart from elite American college player Dante Polvara, Can Stephen Glass bring in the players he wants in a bid to help secure success in this campaign ? St Johnstone goalie Zander Clark and St Mirren midfielder Jamie McGrath are 2 stars that he's been linked with.

Glass is relaxed despite the lack of incoming transfers and admits things are busy behind the scenes : "You're preparing for what might happen. We're in control of the situation. We've got a brilliant squad. If we need to fix things later in the month we'll fix it.

If we don't, we'll challenge the 2nd half of the season with a really strong squad. January's not the most enjoyable month so if we can get some wins while this is going on, it'll make it a little bit enjoyable for us".
