Aberdeen Geoforensics Expert Discusses Joining The Search For 1957 Lankarshire Schoolgirl's Body

Northsound News has been speaking to an Aberdeen geoforensics expert, who has been drafted in to help try to find the body of a school girl missing from Lanarkshire since 1957. 11-year-old Moira Anderson was last seen 58 years ago on a bus with child abuser Alexander Gartshore. He died in 2006.

Prosecutors believe he murdered Moira, but her body has never been found.

Professor Lorna Davidson is an expert on soil from the Hutton Institute in Aberdeen.

She has been instructed by Lord Advocate Frank Mulholland, to help finally find the schoolgirls remains.
