Aberdeen food van offers free food to those struggling
Yilmaz Snack Bar on Hareness Road in Altens say they "More than willing" to help.
A food van in Aberdeen are offering to help families struggling to afford food with free meals.
Yilmaz Snack Bar is based in Altens on Hareness Road.
They say they can be contacted via their Facebook page to arrange food for those who need it.
The owner of the snack bar told Northsound:
"We run a small business on Hareness Road in Altens YILMAZ SNACK BAR and with the current situation if anyone is struggling feeding themselves or their family we would be more than willing to offer them a free hot meal up at our van. "
"We sadly don’t do deliveries but if anyone was struggling they would be more than welcome to drop us a message on our Facebook page and we can get something sorted for them"
"All through lockdown we did free meals for children and made our own followers aware we could help in anyway so wanting to make others aware that we 100% would help anyone in a situation that’s out of their hands and struggling to feed their family’s"
"We all need to stick together in this and hopefully we can help some people that are struggling through these hard times"
