Aberdeen face a trip to Iceland next week, as they continue their bid for an appearance in a European group stage for the first time in 14 years.
It wasn't the return to Gothenburg Aberdeen hoped for it, but despite a 2-0 defeat to BK Hacken, their thrashing of the Swedish side at Pittodrie was enough to see Stephen Glass and his players through 5-3 on aggregate.
Second-half goals from Martin Olsson and Leo Bengtsson gave the Swedish side hope but a red card for Patrik Walemark undermined the hosts' comeback.
Now Icelandic side Breiðablik stand between the Dons and the play-off round, the final step before the group stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
If they can make it there, they could find themselves in a glamour tie with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, or Jose Mourinho's Roma.
In what many Dons fans might have seen as a shock, the Úrvalsdeild karla side beat Austria Wien 3-2 on aggregate to progress in the competition.
The Icelandic side finished finished fourth in their domestic division last season, albeit the campaign came to a premature end due to Covid-19, and was decided on points per game.
So far this season they sit in the same position, after 13 games they've won seven.
There isn't likely to be many recognisable names in the Breiðablik team for Aberdeen supporters, in fact almost all of their personnel are Icelandic players - with just one Dane and a Serbian player making up the squad.
The last time the Dons met a team from Iceland was back in the 1993-94 Cup Winner's Cup, they played one of the nation's most successful sides Valur, and progressed 7-0 on aggregate.
The away leg will take place next Thursday (August 5) at Breiðablik's Kópavogsvöllur, with the return fixture at Pittodrie a week later.
Domestically the Dons face a home League opener against Dundee United and then a trip to Liviginston between the games.
