Aberdeen dad meeting Justice Secretary to discuss Clare's Law
The Aberdeen dad whose daughter was mudered by her ex-boyfriend is meeting the Justice Secretary.
It comes ahead of the pilot of Clare's Law in the Granite city, which starts next week.
It's named after Clare Wood - her father Michael has spent years campaigning for this law.
Ms Wood was strangled and set on fire in Manchester in 2009 by ex-boyfriend, George Appleton, who had a record of voilence against women.
Her Dad is convinced she would still be alive if she had known Appleton's evil past.
The new law lets women find out if their partner has a history of voilence from police - and we've laerned Kenny Macaskill wants to roll it out across the whole of Scotland as soon as possible.
