Aberdeen City and Shire stays in Level 2
Today the First Minister confirmed that both Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils will stay in Level 2 Covid restrictions - but further analysis of data will take place over the coming days.
The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced today that both North East local authorities are to remain in Level 2 of Covid restrictions.
Miss Sturgeon did however note that a sharp rise in cases over the past week has been a concern in both City and Shire, and that further analysis into the data will take place over the coming days.
The FM noted that further understanding is required to see how much community transmission of the virus is taking place, and how much is confined to closely managed isolated outbreaks.
