Aberdeen churches raided by thieves

Police are appealing for information following two Theft by Housebreaking to Churches in Aberdeen. A quantity of money and other items were stolen.

Officers received a reports of break ins to Northfield Parish Church and Newhills Parish Church, in the Northfield and Bucksburn areas of the city, between Thursday 22nd June and Friday 23rd June 2017.

As well as items being stolen over £500 worth of damage was caused during the course of entry being gained to the premises.

Detective Constable Paul Wigley has said "These crimes are distasteful and upsetting to residents of these areas"
