Aberdeen Centre Overwhelmed By Donations For Migrants

Published 4th Sep 2015

Aberdeen Performing Arts, who set up a drop-off point for Aberdonians wanting to donate to migrants, have been overwhelmed by the huge support they've recieved.

The company set up the centre on Jopp's Lane on Monday afternoon, and since then they have recieved hundreds of sleeping bags, duvets, clothes, and toiletries.

The group, who did not expect such a huge response, now have to seek sponsorship from haulage or shipping companies to get all of the donations to Calais.
