An Aberdeen care facility's been branded “unsatisfactory” by inspectors.
A Care Inspectorate visit to Kingsmead in Kingswells found some residents felt they had nothing to do - and that some staff weren't treating them with respect.
Inspectors found confidential resident notes were being kept in the dining area of the home. It was recommended the documents be locked away – but the next day there were piles of records in the dining room again.
Some residents complained about the noise in public areas – with one even saying they take their hearing aids out in public areas.
Inspectors say the home needs to make significant improvements.
Operator Mead Medica Services is yet to comment.
