Police seek man to assist in attempted robbery investigation

The incident happened on Provost Watt Drive around 4pm on Monday the 3rd of May.

Police in Aberdeen have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their ongoing enquiries into an attempted robbery in the Kincorth area.

The incident took place on Provost Watt Drive around 4pm on Monday, 3 May 2021.

Detectives are eager to trace the man pictured who was in the area at the time and are asking the man, anyone who may recognise him, or who has further information relating to the incident, to come forward.

Detective Constable Christopher Chapman of Aberdeen CID said: “I would urge anyone who might have information about this man to come forward. Please contact us on 101, quoting incident 2297 of Monday, 3 May, 2021, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
